Welcome to our community! We are two Christian, homeschooling moms dedicated to supporting and guiding fellow mothers as we navigate the journey of educating our preschoolers together. Join us in sharing experiences, tips and encouragement as we grow and learn side by side. We are here to provide materials, classes, workshops and insight in order to help make this adventure enjoyable and enriching for our little ones!
Ashley Jones
I am a homeschooling mom of four, and a believer in letting kids learn at their own pace through connection, curiosity, and creativity. Not only am I passionate about homeschooling, but also love supporting other moms with thoughtfully designed resources, tools, and handmade goods to enrich their homeschooling journey. Alongside my good friend and co-founder, Megan, we were inspired to create learning materials that nurture little minds through play and rhythm, and thus Little Lantern Learning was born.
Megan Carroll
With 14 years of experience as a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in outdoor and nature-based therapy, I am passionate about creating engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences and materials for children. As a dedicated homeschooler of my 8-year-old and preschooler, I embrace the unique challenges and joys of their different learning styles, which inspires my creative teaching methods. Together with my friend and co-founder Ashley, we have established an outdoor learning co-op to share our love for homeschooling and connect with other like-minded families. We have learned so much by sharing stories, space and learning time with these families as well as our own. We look forward to sharing insights and materials, supporting one another, and celebrating our homeschooling journey with you!
